Stunning Fall Wedding at Maroon Bells | Aspen, Colorado

There’s something truly magical about a fall wedding, and when it’s set against the stunning backdrop of the Bells, it’s an experience that etches itself into the hearts of all who witness it. The location’s vibrant colors, crisp air, and natural beauty create a perfect romantic and memorable celebration setting. Veronica + Tanner had the ideal timing for the Fall colors, but the Bells had other plans for the weather on their day. We checked the forecast about a week out, and it wasn’t looking good. So Veronica ordered a bunch of clear umbrellas, and the crew was 100% prepared!

We started the adventure at their rental nearby as they finished getting ready about 25 minutes from the Amphitheater. The immediate family helped with the final touches, and Tanner’s side headed out a little early so we could do a first look with Veronica and her Dad. Her dad’s reaction to seeing her for the first time on the porch at the rental property was pretty fantastic! 😍 Just not quite as fantastic as Tanner’s when he saw Veronica for the first time at the Bells, walking through the golden aspens and shielded from the rain by her parents and those super helpful umbrellas!

The beginning of the ceremony was a complete downpour, but even though the weather wasn’t cooperating, it didn’t matter. All of the essential humans and pups were there for this experience! They had flown in from all over the world to witness these two get married in one of the most photographed locations in the world; it was time to do this! We were so lucky that by the middle of the ceremony, the clouds opened up and the sun peeked out just as they finished their vows. It was epic!

After the ceremony, we quickly captured all of the important family photos and had plenty of time to get some stunning couples’ photos while the foggy Bells were showing off. From there, we headed down the road to the Inn at Aspen for their intimate reception and family dinner.
